Prime Minister visits South Leicestershire

The Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer visited the constituency on 22nd April to see the long overdue improvements to the Catthorpe Interchange.

Andrew visits refurbished Old Inn, Littlethorpe

Andrew Robathan was recently given a full tour of the newly refurbished Old Inn in Littlethorpe.He said ‘Pubs such as the Old Inn are an important part of our local community so it is great to see this investment which is a boost for the town and local economy. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit – including pulling pints – and I wish Nick, Emma and the staff every success.’

Office Opening a Big Success

After months of negotiations and planning the move into our new offices had been accomplished.
So, on February 22nd the official ‘Ribbon Cutting’ took place.
Rupert Matthews, MEP candidate, had kindly agreed to do the honours at our Coffee Morning.

Andrew Goes Back to Class at Lutterworth College

South Leicestershire MP Andrew Robathan, visited Lutterworth College today to talk to some of the students about life as a constituency MP and as a Government Minister.Later he visited British gas’ National Distribution Centre. As well as having a tour of the facility he also met Andrew Bacon, Regional Director for British Gas in the East Midlands.

With UKIP gaining seats elswhere Conservative Candidates in South Leicestershire successfully held on to all seven of their existing seats, with the remaining two being held by Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
