MP Shines Values at Winstanley Community College

South Leicestershire MP, Andrew Robathan, is to visit Winstanley Community College on Friday, 10th May and has been asked to address the school assembly on their theme of ‘Shine’ values and, in particular, how these values shaped his own life when he served in the SAS.

MP Joins Bus Lane Protest

South  Leicestershire MP, Andrew Robathan, will pick up his placard and join the protest against the proposed bus lane on the A426. The bus lane has been proposed as a way of reducing congestion, but residents in Glen Parva have disputed this and, indeed, argue that it will make the road more dangerous.

This years Macmillan Coffee Morning was a great success.Thanks to all the generous donations and purchase of cakes, we have raised £600.00 so far, with a little more promised and when Gift Aid is added this will be our best total to date.
