Local Elections 6th May 2021
A great day for Conservatives in Leicestershire and up and down the country in the recent elections.
We are delighted to see so many of our excellent South Leicestershire Conservatives candidates elected to both Leicestershire County Council and Blaby District Council.
A big thank you to all the candidates and all those involved in the various campaigns - and of course, a sincere thank you to the voters of Leicestershire who have once again put their faith in the Conservatives to deliver on the priorities of local people and ensure that our wonderful county remains a great place to live and work!
🔵 Rupert Matthews who was elected as Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leciestershire and Rutland
🔵 Les Phillimore was re-elected as County Councillor for Cosby & Countesthorpe.
🔵 Louise Richardson was re-elected as County Councillor for Enderby & Lubbesthorpe.
🔵 Terry Richardson was re-elected as County Councillor for Narborough & Whetstone.
🔵 Maggie Wright was re-elected as County Councillor for Stoney Stanton & Croft.
🔵 Neil Bannister was elected as County Councillor for Broughton Astley.
🔵 Rosita Page was re-elected as County Councillor for Lutterworth.
🔵 Mike Shirley was elected as our newest Blaby District Councillor for Stanton & Flamville ward.
🔵 Finally, commiserations to both Nigel Grundy & Ryan Scott for just missing out in Braunstone and Blaby/Glen Parva - two tightly fought races and both Nigel and Ryan ran excellent campaigns.
