Blaby District Council: Winstanley Ward

Benjamin Taylor was born in Leicester and lives in Thorpe Astley. After spending three years studying at the University of Gloucestershire he came back to work in the IT Consultancy business.

Ben runs his own business and works with clients across Leicestershire understanding how important it is to have good customer relations. This should reflect in how a Councillor runs their ward.

•    Making the voice of Winstanley residents heard and voiced within the council is vital.
•    it is important that when serving the community to be honest, fair and reliable.
•    Debating is a crucial part of deciding the direction of all decisions and ensuring these represent the electorate.
•    Being young and enthusiastic Ben wants to prove that if you care about your community and 
      involve those of all ages you can make a real difference.

Ben would be honoured to serve the Winstanley ward helping represent the voice of local residents.
