Blaby District Council : Countesthorpe
David Findlay has lived in Countesthorpe for the past 10 years and before that Desford.
He currently works within the campaigning field for a major organisation, and as in the past raised his concerns about the issues surrounding both the availability of cheap alcohol and indeed the alcohol intake of our younger generation.
David is also keen on raising social issues that impact people of all ages, from mental health, to affordable home being needed and also the economic impact that polices will have on individual within his community and the wider area as well.
Also David works closely with the police on Hate crime as he is involved in a panel that reviews cases around Hate Crime. David as also written articles on the need to increase awareness and education around this issue
In his spare time David is a real “family man” and enjoys spending time having fun with both friends and his family.
