There are two ways to join the Conservatives: as a Member or as a Supporter. Both are great ways to show your support, so choose the one that’s right for you.
Join as a Member
Members play an active role in the Party, and receive important voting rights in Party elections. As a Member, you’ll be able to:
- Decide who represents the Party in local, general and European elections
- Vote in elections for the Party Leader and in your local Association’s AGM
- Attend Party Conferences
In addition, you’ll receive:
- A membership card
- Regular email updates
Becoming a Member costs £25 a year - or £5 a year if you’re under 23 years old.

Join as a Supporter
If you’re keen to show your support but don’t want to be a full Member, becoming a Supporter is the perfect way to join. As a Supporter, you’ll be able to attend Party Conferences, and will receive:
- A membership card
- Regular email updates
To become a Supporter, all you need to do is make a donation of any amount (from a minimum of £10).
