Glen Parva
Chloe Denton
I am proud to come from a hard working family, my late Grandmother worked at the old Dunlop factory and also spent years in the shoe trade, now sadly lost and my late Grandfather spent 39 years in the coal mines. After 30 years service in the Army, my father moved the family back to Leicestershire. This allows me to raise my four wonderful children in a delightful area and for them to go to a local school in Blaby District. I am also an active member of my local WI and enjoy playing the violin whenever I can.
I am passionate about the sanctity of home and reducing the vulnerability of adults and children on the streets of Leicestershire. This is my first step to helping my local community, if I can get it right for others, I can also inspire my children. What I lack in Council experience I will make up for by trying exceptionally hard to champion your efforts and concerns.
My fathers service record has encouraged me to continue to believe in myself and step up to help the community. I hope to inspire the next generation to have their say amongst their communities and join my passion to make Glen Parva, a fantastic place to reside. I care deeply about and want to ensure our areas stay cleaner and safer for all of the local community to enjoy, the residents deserve nothing less. I love the great outdoors and nature, walking my terrier Puggles regularly in the beautiful scenery of the District.
