Blaby District Council : Countesthorpe Ward

Adrian Clifford has always lived in Countesthorpe and values the quality of life the villages of Countesthorpe, Kilby and Foston provide.  He is family orientated and strongly believes in the importance of protecting the environment and countryside for future generations. 

In his working life, Adrian has worked within the field of Youth and Community work for over 23 years and he has valuable experience of working with a broad range of service providers and different communities, in order to effectively deliver services.

Adrian passionately believes the voice and concerns of local residents should be heard and reflected within local decision making.  For the last 12 years he has been an active member of Countesthorpe Parish Council and is also a member of the Parish Council’s Planning Committee.

Over recent years Adrian has also established and been Chairman of the Countesthorpe Commnunity Action Group and he has passionately supported residents in their concerns regarding building and development work throughout the area.
